Semyung was founded in 1962, as a electric transmission/ substation /distribution line fitting manufacturer that has been with the miraculous economic advancement of Korea.

Based on experiences and technical skills accumulated for a long time in casting, forging and processing aluminum, as its fields have been expanded from automobile parts and sectional beams for textile knitting machines to the high-end components for aircrafts and ships, which epitomize the cutting-edge technologies, it has become a leading global provider in the material industries.

Semyung has its head office in Busan with various factories throughout the nation. Semyung has a specialized factory for precision machining of transmission and distribution fittings in Busan, a plant in Changwon for tricot beam in textile knitting industry, for aluminum castings, forgings, as well as a newly built Mieum factory for advanced technology and new materials industry.
